Sarah Bradshaw

Owner/Manager

I opened Sarah’s Ark in November 2004, I am NVQ level 3 qualified which I gained in March 2000, I have also completed a management level 3 course and recently completed my NVQ level 5.
I enjoy spending time with my family, and socializing with friends, I have 4 children aged 19, 16 ,13 and 10, I am also a foster carer for Lcc. I enjoy horse riding and exercising.

Elaine McPhillips

Deputy Manager

I am Sarah’s Ark deputy manager and have worked here since our first day of opening in 2004. I have worked in childcare for 26 years, I have the NNEB childcare qualification and have also obtained my level 4 management qualification whilst at Sarah’s Ark. In my spare time I enjoy socialising with my family and friends, walking, running and gardening.

I have worked at Sarah’s Ark for 14 years, I have mainly worked in the toddler and I am the nursery supervisor.
In my spare time I run the local brownie group, bake cakes, and I am involved in a local church, I am currently training to be a LLM.

Sue Butler

Cook/Nursery Practitioner

I am the cook at Sarah’s Ark and I have worked here for 5 years.
Occasionally I also cover in the rooms with the children.
I have 2 children and 3 granddaughters and enjoy running, spending time with my family and socialising with friends.

Zara McBurney

I have been working at Sarah’s ark for 2 and a half years. I have my level 3 in childcare. I love working here and watching the children develop and grow! I have a little boy called Oliver and enjoy spending time with my family making memories

I will have worked at Sarahs Ark for four years in April. I am level two qualified and hoping to progress to level three in the near future. I work in the toddler room and have two daughters. Bella and Bailey. I enjoy going on days out and new adventures with my girls

I have a Level 5 BAHons Degree in Childhood Studies and I have worked at Sarah’s Ark for 5 years. I have worked with children 0-5 years for 8 years.
I have two little boys, George and Harrison and I love going on adventures and making memories with them.
In my spare time I run a FM Fragrances business which I love doing. I also love spending time with my family and friends, going out for tea and shopping

Ellie Woodhouse

I’ve been a qualified level 3 EYP for a year now, and I’ve worked at Sarah’s Ark for just over a year, I started doing my placement for college here and then stayed on as cover. I tend to work just one day per week as I’m also training to be a teacher at university and in my spare time I’m a cheerleader

I have worked at Sarah’s Ark for nearly 17 years. I started here as an apprentice and completed my level 2&3.
I have mainly worked in the baby room.
In my spare time I like to bake, run and spend time with family and friends.
